According to a recent study by Centre of Atmospheric Sciences at IIT Delhi, Chitkul has the cleanest air in India.

Chitkul, a village located on right bank of Baspa River, is the last village of the Baspa Valley and the last village on the old Hindustan-Tibet trade route. It is also the last point in India one can travel to without a permit.

Kinnaur Valley Chitkul Dussehra Special

Kinnaur Valley Chitkul Dussehra Special

Just returning from an unforgettable trip to Chitkul and Kalpa, and I can confidently say that a huge part of what made it so special was our Tour Captain, Nick. From the very beginning, Nick’s energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism stood out. He ensured that every member of the group felt included, safe, and truly enjoyed every moment of the journey. Whether it was navigating winding mountain roads, arranging smooth accommodations, or simply keeping the vibe upbeat with his stories and humor—Nick handled everything effortlessly. His knowledge about the local culture and hidden gems around Chitkul and Kalpa made the experience even richer. What I appreciated most was how approachable and friendly he was. You could see that he genuinely cared about everyone having a great time. This trip wouldn’t have been the same without him. Thank you, Nick, for making this adventure so memorable. Looking forward to joining more trips with you as the captain!
